The Drivel Meme

The story of this meme is long and complicated. I snatched it from calumfan, so … now you know

BEWARE, this is me!

Elaborate on your default icon.

It's simply a photo of THE MAN from the latest Fox event. He's profoundly gorgeous, every way you look at it.

What's your current relationship status?
Happily single.

Not that I know of.

If he’ll have me … Baby, I’m yours.

(Meet THE MAN – my kind of man)

Who will cut and paste this first?
Beats me.

Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
Yeah, a butcher at our local supermarket once said I look like a film star, but he wasn’t able to tell me which one. Probably something along the line of Roseanne Barr.

Do you wear a watch? What kind?
Yes, it’s a watch I got from my Mum on my 15th birthday (God, that sounds like eons ago!). Just a small silvery thing, nothing special about it.

Do you have anything pierced?
My ears. I’m quite fond of earrings, otherwise, no.

Do you have any tattoos?
No, but in case I should get seriously drunk I might get HUGH tattooed on my left breast, just to have him close to my heart. Mind you, I said SERIOUSLY drunk .

Do you like pain?

I’m a bit of an emotional masochist, but that’s about as far as I can take.

Do you like to shop?
I haven’t developed a strong affinity to it, although I am the person who does most shopping in our family.

What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
Some groceries last week.

What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?
A six months pass for our motorway system (unless you’re Slovene you probably haven’t got a faintest idea what I’m talking about. I wish I could afford the same luxury).

What is on your desktop background?
(Credit goes to the lovely Pandora http://pandorashollow.livejournal.com )

Aren’t they adorable, even if it is just a manip?

What is the background on your cell phone?
A red rose.

Do you like redheads?
I certainly have nothing against them.

Do you know any twins?
Yes, I do. Quite a few, actually.

Do you have any weird relatives?
I believe to be the weirdest of them all.

What was the last movie you watched?
Hmm, let me think. I watch movies all the time, but I’m completely oblivious of their titles, unless it’s a really famous movie. The last one I watched wasn’t.

What was the last book you read?
The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde.

Is there such a thing as love at first sight, or it is more likely to be "lust at first sight"?
It’s a close call, but I believe lust has a bit of advantage.

What's your favourite novel?
Balada o trobenti in oblaku (the Ballad of the Trumpet and the Cloud) by Slovene author Ciril Kosmac.

When was the last time you visited the street where you first lived?
I still live in it. How pathetic is that?!

Do you read your horoscope?
Only when there’s nothing better to read, but otherwise, no.

Who's your favourite of the seven dwarves?
Grumpy, but I could definitely identify with Dopey, too.

When was the last time you googled your own name?
I still haven’t done that. Too afraid of what I might find.

What was your favourite subject at school?
English, then Slovene and then History. Still my winning combination.

What was your least favourite subject at school?
PE, because I sucked at it. I still do.

Do you like having your photograph taken?
Absolutely not. There are way too many interesting not to mention beautiful things in this world that deserve to be captured for eternity. I am not one of those.

What time were you born?
5.45 pm, or so I was told.

Ever seriously questioned your sanity?
Every single day.

How many phone numbers do you have remembered and can say off the top of your head?

Can you Limbo?
No way, Jose. I don’t even dare to try.

Have you ever killed your own dinner?
Not yet!

How long have you been living at your current residence?
27  years and a half. Misery!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What phobias do you have?
Spiders, moths and snakes. Not necessarily in this particular order.

What's your ideal breakfast?
Whatever, as long as Hugh brings it to my bed.

Where are you right now?
Sitting on the toilet seat in our bathroom. It’s quiet, nicely cool and pretty comfy, too.

What book or movie title best summarizes your personality?
I’m not sure such book has been written yet, or movie taken, but the most appropriate title I can think of would be Inertia.

If you could suddenly get the skill to play any single musical instrument, which would you choose?
Piano, absolutely. It is my greatest regret that I hadn’t learned how to play the piano when I was a child. Still, there’s plenty of time left, though.

Why do you blog?
Because I basically have no social life.

Do you have any prejudices you're willing to acknowledge?
Ignorance annoys me. I consider it irresponsible and highly indifferent to other people not to know things, at least some basics. But then again, I’m in the “knowledge business”.

What would you call your autobiography?
Still Moving. (apparently, I’m all about inertia)

What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country/where?
5 amazing days in London. God, I can hardly believe it’s been almost 11 years and I still haven’t found the courage, time and money to go there again. Grrrr!

Do you use ICQ, AOL Buddy list etc..?

Do you have nightmares frequently?
I used to have them and there were always snakes involved. Paging dr. Freud …

If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
I don’t think I have ever wanted to be anyone else but good old predictable me. However, if I were someone else, well, probably not.

Feeling blue

I hate technology!

No, I hate myself for not knowing how to deal with technology!

Oh, what the heck, I 'll just go and sulk in the first corner that crosses my path.

At least I've got this

Personality ... uhm, what?

Took yet another test. ... (www.41q.com)

I guess I'm a bit more competitive than I thought myself to be. This time it's a personality test.

Some might say it is impossible for me to take one. I sort of lack of any personality. I'm just plain and simple ... boring!

This is me then ...

Independent, original, analytical and determined. Have an exceptional ability to turn theories into solid plans of action. Highly value knowledge, competence and structure. Driven to derive meaning from their visions. Long-range thinkers. Have very high standards for their performance and the performance of others. Natural leaders, but will follow if they trust existing leaders.

Careers that could fit you includes:

Scientists, engineers, professors, teachers, medical doctors, dentists, corporate strategists, organization founders, business administrators, managers, military, lawyers, judges, computer programmers, system analysts, computer specialists, psychologists, photographers, research department managers, researchers, university instructors, chess players.

This is ridiculous!

Me ... a leader ?!

Come on people, let me lead you to a land of neverending bliss ... :P

I've got waaay too much time on my hands! Better quit while I'm still ahead.

The man, who else?

It's Hughsday!

The REAL Hughsday!

You know ... Hugh's day

Stimulation, anyone?

" He stimulates me." (Cammie about House)

"How long do we have to sit here before you're stimulated?" (Cammie again, go figure!)

Is it just crazy old me making an elephant out of a ... whatever, or is there something dr. Cameron would like to share with the rest of us lot, huh?

I'm ... Wilson?!

OK, so I took the test.

You know, the one that determines which of the characters from House you are.

Actually, I didn't take it once but three times.

Yup, THREE times!!!!    Answer?

Jimmy "freaking" Wilson  (every single time!)

HA! No wonder I'm crazy about House!
